TWD – TRAILER WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION

The “TWD” Hydraulic controlled lift axle system allowing a higher percentage of the trailers gross weight to be distributed onto the tractor hitch for increased traction. The TWD systems is supplied as a sub assembled unit including; Heavy duty mounting hanger, hydraulic cylinder, leaf chains, mounting anchors and roller pulleys. Axle mounting brackets are available to suit Ø127mm and SQ.90mm axle beams as standard. The system is powered by the tractor hydraulics and can be controlled from the tractor cab.
