Our history
Born in 1988, DISTAG are a forward-looking company focused on retaining all our ethics and values which have led to us becoming one of the largest Component Solutions provider in the UK & Ireland.
Our company was founded in 1988 by Joe Deacon – a young entrepreneur with a love for all things Engineering DISTAG quickly became a family-based business when Sheila joined in 1992, a strong unit who have proudly maintained a family-run business to this day.
Sourcing our first products globally in 1988 DISTAG have grown from our headquarters in Tullow, Co.Carlow, Ireland to a 33,000 sq.foot premises in Ipswich, Suffolk, UK, and a newly developed 30,000 sq.foot premises in Dungannon, Co., Northern Ireland.
