Comprises X’Align Laser Pulley Alignment Tool, Digital Tension Meter, Analog Tension Tester, Digital Vernier Calipers, Belt Profile Gauge, Pulley Gauge,Tape Measure, LED Torch, Pen, Calculator, and User Guide. All components are housed in a strong, light-weight, ABS case.
Highly effective tool which uses a laser beam to correct any misalignment in a drive, ensuring the maximum possible belt life and drive efficiency.
The most accurate way to check that belts are tensioned correctly is to measure the frequency emitted by the belt.
The PIX DTM is a simple but very accurate unit which enables the frequency to be measured. Using the frequency measurement, the exact tension of the belt can be calculated. Correct tension is vital to minimise slippage, prolong belt life, and obtain the maximum energy efficiency from a drive.
Simple tool for measuring belt tension manually. Whilst not giving the accuracy of the Digital Tension Meter, it provides an adequate reading for most drives. It is a very economic and compact aid to optimising belt drives and their efficiency.

Flat Pulley Length Measure –
A universal tool to measure the length of all types of belt. Measures up to approx. 3100mm.
V-Groove Pulley Length Measure –
V-Groove Pulley Length Measure Measures the length of conventional V-belts up to 138.
Simple set of templates to identify the different pulley sections. The gauges will also show signs of excessive wear in pulley sheaves.
This tool from PIX is used for the maintenance of Poly-V belts.
It enables the user to check wear in the belt ribs, and also the overall thickness of the belt. The clever design uses 4 sides of the Pentagon to check PJ, PK, PL, and PM sections.
A useful tool from PIX to determine a belt section, if the belt marking is not visible. Works with all wrapped belts – Classical, Wedge, and Narrow sections.
The PIX Drive Design Programme is a comprehensive application which can be used to both specify belts and pulleys for new drives and to validate the requirements for existing drives.
It can be used for V-Belts, Ribbed Belts, and Timing Belts, with simple 2-pulley drives or complex multi-pulley systems.
PIX Drive Setup & Calculation Utilities are an invaluable aid to anyone involved with designing, specifying, or selling belt and pulley drives. Six separate digital tools allow the user to calculate: 1. Pulley Centre Distance (from belt pitch length); 2. Belt Pitch Length (from pulley centre distance); 3. Correct V-Belt Tension; 4. Belt Power Rating (V & Poly-V); 5. Belt Power Rating (Timing Belts); and 6. Belt Length Conversion Factor (Li to Lp to La).
