Sand casting utilizes expendable sand moulds to form complex metal parts from a variety of alloys. Sand casting is used to produce a wide variety of metal components with complex geometries, Grey iron, Ductile iron and Steel Sand casting.
Shell Mould Casting is an expendable mould casting process which uses a resin covered sand to form the mould. Shell Mould Casting is deemed to have a better dimensional accuracy compared to Sand Casting and high productivity rates with lower labour costs.
Lost Foam Casting (investment) is a type of evaporative pattern casting process that is similar to lost-wax casting except for foam is used for the pattern instead of wax.
This process takes advantage of the low boiling point of foam to simplify the investment casting process by removing the need to melt the wax out of the mould.
Pressure Die Casting is a casting process that forces molten metal under high pressure into a mould cavity. The mould cavity is created using hardened tool steel dies, which have been machined into shape.
