PIX manufacture a dedicated range of belts specifically designed to withstand the rigours of Grass Machinery applications. Such has been the success of these products that PIX is the first choice for many of the “blue chip” manufacturers in the lawn and garden industry. With the addition of belts for walk-behind (domestic) mowers, the PIX range is undisputedly the most comprehensive range of lawn & garden belts available. The range now even includes belts for some smaller machine/construction tools e.g. cement mixers.

The Lawnmaster-XS range of belts are now globally recognised as the leading brand of V-belt for the Turfcare industry. The belts outperform all current competitors that we have encountered and, as such, have become the belts of choice for some of the biggest OEM producers across the globe. Currently, PIX’s portfolio of customers in this area include, Husqvarna, GGP (Castel/Mountfield), Stiga, MTD, Viking, Hayter, Ransomes, Allett, to name just a few.
Constructed from a highly complex compound, developed over many years working with the worlds’ leading manufacturers, the belts feature a layer of large diameter high-tensile cords made of Kevlar (aramid). This gives the belt a huge resistance to shock loads or stretching. Added to that the belts are double-wrapped with an impregnated ‘dry’ cotton material, making them resilient to ‘wear and tear’, and also making them suitable for ‘clutching’ applications, which rely on the belt slipping without burning.
The DUO double-sided belts enable power to be transmitted from both sides of the belt. As such, it is a natural choice for ‘serpentine’ drives such as those found on large mower decks. Uniquely designed with a centrally positioned cord, these belts have excellent flexibility, and are able to perform with complex pulley arrangements.
Performing a similar function to the Hexagonal belts, and usually found on ‘serpentine’ drives, the timing belt allows the drive to be synchronised or timed’. As such, it is often a suitable alternative to roller chains or gears. These belts are also extremely durable and withstand higher temperatures than the hexagonal option.
More than 430 of the most popular belts used in the industry have also been examined and analysed by PIX, to produce this range of products. Essentially, these belts are a ‘replica’ of the originals in almost every respect.
They are designated by the OEM part number with the prefix ‘A- ‘. Growing exponentially in popularity, these belts offer the most complete solution for distributors/dealers who are looking for an exact match to the original.
This range includes our new offering of domestic lawn and garden belts for the ‘walk behind’-type mower, more commonly found in the home.
