We have been supplying fully machined bearing housings, made from high-grade Ductile Iron for over 10 years now, so we are delighted to have teamed up with world-renown bearing manufacturer TIMKEN, to supply fully assembled units, pre-greased, and sealed ready to fit.
We have invested in top-class induction heaters, and our team have been fully trained and approved by TIMKEN to fit the bearings in our clean room.

Bearing Housing assembly process invloves Cleaning using cleanroom environment and induction heater. All bearing assemblies are guaranteed by Timken as they are fitted using an approved assembly process. Using a state of the art induction rhe bearing reaches its required temperature of 132 degrees, expanding the housing pre-assembly and onvce cooled is then greased using precision measuring which ensures the correct amount is applied.The cap is then assembled, bolts are torquesd to the recommended setting, high temperature seals and silicone o-rings are then used, and all assemblies are then packaged and labelled as per customer requirements.

Our standard bearing material minimizes the impact of debris in harsh environments, like those commonly found in the aggregate industry. At the core of the design is a fully machined brass cage for greater durability and cooler operation. New surface finishing techniques on the roller and raceway surfaces further enhance these benefits. The forged housing is also stronger as compared to any other production method on the market, allowing for high Strength and greater resistance to Shock Loading making it suitable for tough applications.
In addition to our range of bearing housing assemblies, Distag QCS supply several OEM’s with One-Piece Forged Bearing Housings. The Forged design eliminates the need for welding in-house.
The forged housing is also stronger as compared to any other production method on the market, allowing for high Strength and greater resistance to Shock Loading making it suitable for tough applications.
