Distag QCS Ltd introduce the POWERSTEER range of Positive Steering Systems for agricultural trailers and trailed equipment.
Each system is designed to be powered by a linkage connection to the tractor hitch which actuates a control cylinder forward and backward as the vehicle turns. The actuation of the control cylinder sends oil to the cylinder on the steering axle / axles to steer the trailer.
The POWERSTEER range includes design options for trailers with one or two positive steering axles and offer a range of mounting positions to suit most applications. Where possible systems are supplied in preassembled sub- assembly units reducing assembling time and eliminated any potential errors. The range also includes our patented design quick release link arm mechanism for easy connection and disconnection with the tractor hitch.
Each steering system is controlled using a self-contained pressurised hydraulic system, with no requirement for an oil service from the tractor. The operator simply connects the linkage arm to the tractor hitch using the quick release mechanism and drives, no further operation is necessary.
