ORFS FITTINGS
ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) fittings have a straight thread and a flat face with an O-ring groove machined in the flat face. Sealing takes place by compressing the O-ring onto the flat face of the female connector.

SAE FITTINGS
Can be used in tandem with split clamps. The split clamps make it easy to assemble the connection in close quarters.
They also make removal of the flange head component, such as the hose assembly, easy by loosening all four bolts. Due to this usage of the O-ring, flanges with O-rings has an advantage over metal to metal flanges as all-metal flanges are more prone to leakage because they must be tightened to a higher, yet narrower torque range.
