The UK mainland will now be covered by 4 external Business Development Managers, including 2 new appointments:
Andy Green will cover the South and South East of England, working from Thatcham, Berkshire, and the Ipswich HQ, Andy brings a wealth of experience from the Power Transmission and Component Engineering sector.
Stephen Penton will be looking after the South West of England, and South Wales, working from near Gloucester, and based in the company’s Cardiff office. Steve is a well-known figure in the hydraulics industry, and is looking forward to contributing to this rapidly expanding division of the company.
Steve will be backed up in the Cardiff office by another new addition to the company – Charlotte Ryan, a graduate with extensive customer services experience, has augmented the Cardiff team. She will assist Anthony Batchelor in running the office, whilst providing Steve with sales support internally.
Finally, and as part of an exciting new project at the Ipswich Head Office, Russell Barker joins the company, to establish a new hydraulic hose production facility. Building alterations are now almost complete, to house the new venture; and it will give Distag the additional capacity required to complement their existing plants in Cardiff and Lisburn. Russell has more than 20 years’ experience in hose production, and is currently helping with the design and layout of the new facility. All new state-of-the –art machinery is being installed to feature the Neotech range of hose making products, which Distag distribute exclusively throughout the UK and Ireland.
