DistagQCS – COVID-19 Information & Policy

Distag QCS remain totally committed to servicing the requirements of its customers while, at the same time, looking after the safety, health, and welfare of our team.

Dear valued partner,

Distag QCS remain totally committed to servicing the requirements of its customers while, at the same time, looking after the safety, health, and welfare of our team. As such, we remain open for business, and ready to take your instructions through the usual channels. As well as the desire to keep our own, and our partners’ businesses running with as little disruption as possible, we are conscious that our products are vital to the continued running of agriculture, key building services, emergency services machinery, hospitals, supermarkets, etc. In view of this, we feel a strong obligation, and duty, to operate our services as close to normal as we possibly can.

To try and ensure the very highest levels of safety for our team, we are constantly monitoring the changes to the advice given by the Government, the WHO, and Dept. of Health. As a result of this, we have moved to a new phase of our contingency planning from yesterday, 1st April.

Some of our team are now taking furlough leave, and the remaining office staff will be working from home, with exception of 1 or 2 people to handle essential tasks. The warehouse team has now been reduced to one shift, and all staff will revert to 8.30am to 5.30pm working.

Distag would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of our amazing team for their support, hard work, and sacrifice – their commitment and togetherness has been a ‘silver lining’ in this otherwise difficult time.

We hope, with the new contingency in place, that we can service all your requirements with the minimum of disruption, but please bear with us if there are some minor delays etc. Please be aware that your usual contact may be on temporary furlough leave, although their phones and e-mail have been re-routed.

Also, as the global crisis deepens, we may experience supply issues with some of the affected areas. We will advise further on this, in the future, if it becomes a serious problem.

Finally, thank you for your continuing support, which is deeply appreciated – we hope that you, your colleagues, friends and families all stay well throughout this difficult time.
