Responsible for all day-to-day functions and administration of the warehouse, ensuring production and deliveries are in line with sales team & customer expectations
Supervision, direction, and support of the warehouse/assembly staff, on a daily, hands-on basis,
To optimise the use of space, and storage equipment, in the warehouse. Organise the layout of the buildings and racking, to ensure the most efficient operation of the department, senior management will provide support to ensure we achieve this.
To maintain, and improve, standards of presentation and excellence within the warehouse, with regard to dress code and appearance.
Ensuring that individual team members uphold standards of appearance for their own area of work.
Tidiness and appearance of the warehouse and ancillary facilities.
To assist with the organisation of our carriers and shipping companies on a day-to-day basis.
Manage goods in, and ensure all goods are checked off, and signed receipt documents are passed to purchasing team, and goods put in correct location in a timely manner
To liaise with Purchasing to monitor stock levels and purchase economically and optimise the use of all packing materials and consumables.
Facilitating and programming of training, ensuring that all necessary training and qualifications are kept up to date, i.e. Forklift Licences/Training etc. This will be overseen by the HR Manager.
Work with the HR Manager and Directors to ensure that warehouse staff members achieve their full potential and develop in their roles to the best of their ability.
Terms & Conditions:
- The hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.
- Pay: €30,000 – €35,000 per year (depending on experience)
