About the role:
- Assist Procurement Specialists in creating reports for ordering and monitoring purposes.
- Carry out the relevant system processes in relation to purchasing functions, including processing stock once it has left suppliers and is in transit, receiving stock in on delivery and invoicing.
- Liaise with the Sales Team in relation to backorder enquiries, assist with special quotations and orders to provide pricing and lead times, where required.
- Assist with product creation on MRP system and maintaining product data validations.
- Manage inward logistics from suppliers into Dungannon location. Liaising with suppliers and transport agents to arrange bookings and ensure all relevant documentation is available for clearance and delivery.
- Carry out NI Protocol procedures, adhering to TSS requirements.
- Assist in managing the stock levels across our locations, arranging for stock to be transferred as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Studied to A-Level or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of procurement or supply chain processes preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with SAP, Orcale or other MRP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for supplier and internal team coordination.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in procurement and supply chain.
Terms & Conditions:
This post has the specified working hours of 40 hours per week, normally 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.00am – 2.00pm on Fridays with a 30 minute lunch break, but it is required that the Procurement Assistant will work such hours necessary to carry out the duties associated with the post.
